A Bloom That Never Closes

Caught at the moment a flower opens, and held there.

This chandelier began with a shape borrowed from nature: a flower in the second before it fully opens — petals still curved inward, layered over one another, holding light in the hollow at its centre. Translate that into glass, hang it from a ceiling, and you get something that behaves less like a fixture and more like a living thing.

The petals make it real. Each one is mouth-blown by hand on the end of a blowpipe, the colour drawn into the glass while it's still molten — so the tone lives inside the piece rather than sitting on the surface, milky at the heart and deepening toward the edge. Dozens of them overlap in graduated tiers, and because they sit at different depths, light doesn't fall in a single beam. It filters, layers, and softens, spilling through row after row until it reaches the room as something gentle.

Because every petal is blown individually, no two are quite alike — and neither are any two chandeliers. Choose it in blush, amber, white, or deep rose; hang it small over a breakfast table or grand in an atrium. Whichever you pick, it does the same thing: it makes people look up.
