The Solenne Alabaster Panel Chandelier hangs tall panels of natural alabaster in two staggered rows from a brass frame, so the stone glows warm from within over a dining table, kitchen island, living room or grand entry.

Light that glows, not glitters

Glass sparkles; alabaster glows. When the bulbs switch on, light passes through the front row of stone, spills between the gaps of the back row, and brings every panel's veining to life in soft bands of cream, honey and caramel. The overlapping rows hide the bulbs from every angle, so the room is filled with warm, glare-free light.

Switched off, it reads as a sculpture of stone and metal. Switched on, it becomes the warmest light in the house.

Round or linear, three finishes

Choose the round drum in 35.8″, 48″ or 59.8″ for dining rooms, living rooms and entryways, or the linear version in 59.8″ or 72″ for long tables and kitchen islands. Every size is 15″ tall, and the brass frame comes in Gold, Black or Nickel.

It takes E12 candelabra bulbs (not included), runs on AC 110–240V and is rated IP20 for indoor dry locations. Each Solenne is made in our own factory and ships within 5–10 days.

The design story

A crown of stone, lit from within

Where an ancient material meets a clean modern ring.

Long before electric light, builders around the Mediterranean sliced alabaster thin and set it into windows and lanterns. Sunlight or candlelight passing through the stone turned it into a soft, amber glow, and rooms lit this way felt calm, warm and a little magical.

The Solenne design borrows that idea and gives it a simple modern form. Tall stone panels stand side by side like the staves of a crown, with a second row set just behind and below, so light travels through layer after layer of stone before it reaches the room.

Nothing is added for decoration: a brass frame, small square clips, and the stone itself. The beauty comes from the material, from veining no designer could draw and no two panels share.

Hang it over the table where your family gathers, and every dinner is lit the way rooms were lit for centuries: by the warm glow of stone.

Are the panels real alabaster?

Yes. Every panel is cut from natural alabaster, a soft, translucent stone that glows warm when light passes through it. Because it is a natural material, tone and veining vary from panel to panel, so no two Solenne chandeliers are exactly alike.

Should I choose the round or linear version?

Choose the round drum for round or square tables, living rooms, bedrooms and entryways. Choose the linear version for rectangular dining tables and kitchen islands, where it spreads light evenly along the whole length.

Which size is right for my table?

A good rule is about half to two thirds of the table length. The 35.8″ round suits tables of roughly 54–72″, the 48″ round 72–96″, and the 59.8″ round larger tables and open-plan rooms; the linear 59.8″ and 72″ suit tables and islands of roughly 84–120″.

How high should it hang above a table or island?

Leave about 30–36″ between the tabletop and the bottom of the panels. In rooms with ceilings above 9 ft, add roughly 3″ for every extra foot of ceiling height so the chandelier stays in proportion.

How long is the downrod, and can it be longer?

Each Solenne ships with a 100 cm / 39.3″ downrod. For high, vaulted or double-height ceilings, we can make a longer rod to your measurement before the chandelier leaves our factory.

Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?

Yes. We can supply a sloped-ceiling adapter so the chandelier hangs straight and level under an angled ceiling. Send us your ceiling pitch before ordering and we will confirm the right parts.

What bulbs does it use?

It takes E12 candelabra bulbs (E14 outside the US), max 40W, and bulbs are not included. We recommend warm white LED bulbs at 2700K to bring out the honey and cream tones of the stone.

Can the Solenne be dimmed?

Yes, when you use dimmable bulbs with a compatible dimmer switch. If you are unsure which combination to choose, contact us and our team will recommend a setup for your home.

Can I choose the look of the stone?

Yes. Tell us whether you prefer paler, warmer or more heavily veined stone before you order, and we will photograph the actual panels for your approval before shipping.

How do I clean alabaster?

Switch the light off, then dust the panels gently with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Alabaster is a soft, porous stone, so avoid water, sprays and chemical cleaners.

Do I need an electrician, and how fast does it ship?

The Solenne is hardwired to a ceiling junction box, so we recommend a licensed electrician for installation. Each chandelier is made and inspected in our own factory and ships within 5–10 days.
