Aurelle began with a contrast we kept coming back to: the precision of metal against the softness of stone. Slim upright lines bring the discipline of architecture, and natural alabaster brings a warmth no machine can draw.

The vertical line came next. A single upright form makes a wall feel taller and a room feel calmer, so we let the stone rise in narrow panels and let the metal frame it quietly, never louder than the light itself.

About the sconce

Is the shade real alabaster?

Yes. The shade is natural alabaster stone, not resin, glass or acrylic.

What is the frame made of?

The frame is metal, finished in gold, black or nickel.

Which size should I choose?

The 9.8″ width suits narrow walls and vanity pairs; the 12.8″ width gives more presence. Both are 25.6″ tall.

Will the glow look like the photos?

Use 2700K warm-white bulbs for the amber glow shown. Cooler bulbs make the stone look whiter.

Installation and use

Which bulbs should I buy?

Any E12 (US) or E14 bulb up to 40W. LED bulbs run cooler and last longer.

Is there a plug-in version?

No. It is hardwired to a wall junction box and controlled by your wall switch.

Can two sconces share one switch?

Yes. An electrician can wire a pair to a single switch so both turn on together.

Can I dim it?

Use dimmable E12/E14 bulbs with a compatible wall dimmer. Message us before ordering and we'll confirm your setup.

Can it go in a bathroom?

Yes, beside the vanity mirror. It is rated IP20, so keep it out of the shower and never use it outdoors.

Care

Will the stone yellow over time?

No. Natural alabaster keeps its color, unlike acrylic shades that yellow with age.

How do I clean it?

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Skip water and cleaners, because alabaster is porous.
