The Alabaster Cylindrical Chain Chandelier is built around one idea: you decide how much drama your ceiling can hold. Each stone cylinder hangs from a draped chain you can lengthen or shorten, so the fixture adapts to your space instead of forcing your space to adapt to it.
Each cylinder is carved from carefully selected natural alabaster—a translucent stone with a soft, jade-like luster. As light passes through, it reveals layered depth and the stone's own one-of-a-kind veining; no two pieces are ever identical. Whether it floats above a long dining table or fills a two-story foyer, this chandelier turns raw stone into a suspended work of art.

This is not one fixture with fixed arms. Every drop has its own ceiling plate and its own chain, so spacing and height are two separate decisions, both made in your room rather than at our workshop.
Spacing · across the ceiling
Every pendant screws to its own round plate, and the chain swags from one to the next. Nothing shares a bar, so the only thing that fixes the spacing is where you put the plates.
Set them 12″ apart for a tight group over a dining table, or 3 ft apart to run the length of a kitchen island. Line them up, stagger them, or scatter them across the ceiling.
Height · down into the room
The chain is made of separate links, so a drop is shortened by removing links, one pendant at a time, with no effect on the others.
Step each drop 4–8″ below the last and the group reads as ordered instead of busy. Over a table you can set them all level; on an open ceiling, staggered is almost always better.
The same fixture takes on a different character in each room, with the spacing and height that suit it.

Each pendant is three forms — a cap, a ring and a sphere — carved from natural alabaster and stacked. Switched off, it reads as pale sculpture. Switched on, the veins surface like ink in water, and no two pendants will ever match.
Every drop has its own ceiling plate, and the chain swags from one to the next — so pendants don't have to sit under the junction box. Choose black or brass to match the other metals in the room.
The LED driver sits up in the canopy, not inside the stone, so each pendant stays clean and slim. The driver carries its own cULus listing, printed right on its label, and connects to a standard US junction box.
Same stone, same shapes, same chain. The only choice is how much alabaster you want in each drop — and how much of the room it should fill.
Slim enough that 5 to 9 drops still read as one composition. For clusters, bedsides and standard 8–9 ft ceilings.

Quarried stone varies from piece to piece. The pendants you receive will differ from the photographs and from one another — that is the stone, not a defect.
Every drop has its own plate and its own chain, so there is no fixed limit to how many you can hang. A double-height living room, a grand stairwell or a long banquet table can take twelve, fifteen or more — arranged the way the room wants.

Most shades block light and let it out at the edges. Yet, this stone-textured lampshade manages to achieve exactly that.
Alabaster is translucent. Switch it on and the whole shade lights up from within, veining and all, instead of glowing only where the bulb sits. There is no bright spot to look at, because the light source is the entire surface.
The veining was decided underground, long before anyone cut it. Every shade carries its own pattern and its own faint colour shift — so the piece that arrives is not the piece in the photograph, and that is the point.
Resin and acrylic imitations go amber and brittle within a few years of sitting next to a warm bulb. Stone does not age that way. The shade you unpack is the shade you will have in twenty years.
Designed for better living
Use warm white (2700K). The stone itself has an off-white, creamy tone; cool light passing through it makes it look grayish and dingy, whereas warm light brings out that honey-like hue seen in the photos.
Alabaster is a natural stone that absorbs water and cleaning agents, which can leave permanent stains. Disconnect the power, let the bulb cool down, and then wipe the fixture with a soft, dry cloth—do not use water or spray cleaners.
The density of the stone is far greater than that of a glass shade of the same size; ensure the ceiling's load-bearing capacity is sufficient for safety.

Alabaster Cylindrical Chain Chandelier
Alabaster is translucent, so the light travels through the stone rather than escaping at the edges — the whole shade glows, veining and all. Every piece carries a pattern that was decided underground, which is why no two are alike.
Resin is cast in moulds, so the "veining" repeats from one shade to the next and the light passes through evenly with no depth to it. It also ages differently: sitting close to a warm bulb, resin tends to amber and grow brittle within a few years.
