Step 1: Safety & Positioning
Gather Your Tools and Prioritize Safety
First, prepare your essential tools: a screwdriver, power drill, voltage tester, a ladder or sturdy chair, safety glasses, and gloves.

Find the Sconce's "Sweet Spot"
The placement and height of a wall sconce are crucial as they determine the effect of the light.

Bedroom: Imagine yourself reading in bed. Wall sconces should be mounted on either side of the bed, approximately 60-70 inches off the floor. This provides enough light to illuminate your book without causing glare.
