How It Is Made

Not One Object — Dozens, Hung Together

A moulded chandelier arrives as a single piece. This one arrives as a frame and a box of discs, each hooked on by hand. Which is why no two look alike, and why a single damaged disc never costs you the whole fixture.

01 The discs

Every disc starts separate

Before anything is assembled, the discs sit like this — each one with its own swirl, its own density, its own thinning at the rim. They are sorted, not matched.

Why it mattersA fixture built from identical parts can be matched. One built from these cannot — and that is the difference you see when dozens hang together.

02 The frame

A frame of hooks, nothing more

Brushed nickel rings with an individual hook for every disc. No channels, no moulded panels, no adhesive. Each disc hangs on its own and can be lifted off with two fingers.

Why it mattersChip one disc and you replace that disc. The chandelier stays on the ceiling and the electrician stays at home.

03 The glass

The swirl runs through it

Held to the light, the pattern is clearly inside the glass — denser at the centre, thinning to almost clear at the rim. Not printed on the face, not an even tint.

Why it mattersA surface pattern can wear or fade. This cannot — and it is what gives each disc depth rather than a flat coloured face when lit.

Cerulea Iridescent Deep Blue Disc Chandelier.  Deep, inky, closer to a storm than to a shoreline — with a teal-green cast where the swirl runs dense and a faint iridescent shimmer catching violet at the rims. It is the blue of a bottle at the bottom of a crate, or of water with real depth under it. It reads as considered rather than as beachy, which is why it works in a room with dark wood and brass rather than only in one with white slipcovers.

It also means no two discs match, and no two fixtures do either. On a single pendant that claim is impossible to check. With dozens hanging in the same volume of air, it's the first thing you see. Every disc clips on individually, so one chipped disc is replaced on its own.
