Light changes everything
Discover sculptural lighting designed to bring warmth, character, and atmosphere to every room.
The Rectangular Alabaster Wall Lamp transforms the beauty of raw minerals into a highly functional work of art for your space. It's not just lighting, but a visual representation of nature's years of sedimentation. A perfect bridge connecting natural elements with contemporary design, it's suitable for apartments, villas, or hotels. The vertical rectangular structure is ideal for installation in pairs beside a bed, in a hallway, or as an artistic accent on a TV wall.
Each lampshade is crafted from hand-cut natural alabaster (calcite) panels. The unique crystalline patterns and cloud-like textures within the stone are deeply activated when the light is switched on, revealing a captivating sense of depth. Utilizing alabaster's exceptional translucent properties, this wall lamp emits an incredibly warm and inviting soft glow, effectively eliminating harsh shadows and creating a serene, high-end home atmosphere. The visual focus is entirely on the natural geometric shapes of the stone.
No two pieces of stone are ever the same
Alabaster is a natural stone, so every piece carries its own veining and subtle variation in color. The fixture you receive may therefore differ slightly from the images shown.

Select the size marked (*2) — two together come at a better price than buying them separately.
Two details worth a closer look — the solid stone panel and the warm brass that frames it.
The shade is a thick, solid panel of genuine natural alabaster — not resin or printed glass. The cloud-like veining runs right through the stone, so it has real depth and real weight. As one customer put it, it's heavy and substantial the moment you lift it, and no two panels are ever alike.
The stone is set into a sturdy brass frame and backplate that mounts flush to the wall and holds the panel steady with no flex or rattle. The warm metal sits in the same tone as the glow and hides fingerprints rather than showing them — offered in gold, black, or chrome to match your room.
— Real stone. Real brass. Nothing to hide. —

It takes a standard E12 bulb (Max 40W), so you can fit an LED or a vintage Edison bulb. Dimming depends on the bulb: fit a dimmable E12 bulb with a compatible wall dimmer for full dimming control. The default bulb is not dimmable.
Three heights of the same vertical rectangular design — from a compact bedside accent to a tall statement sconce. Mount one, or a matching pair.
The favorite for bedside pairs.

The most versatile of the three.

Best where you want real vertical drama.

Mount a wall sconce so its center sits about 60–66″ from the floor in a hallway or living room, or a little lower at a bedside. This vertical design looks especially elegant mounted in twos — flanking a bed, mirror, or TV wall. To buy a pair, select the size marked (*2) — two together come at a better price than buying them separately.
Picture the last quiet hour of your evening.
You reach over and press the switch. The bright overhead light drops away, and the room settles onto a single upright panel of stone on the wall — a clean rectangle of alabaster that fills with warm light from the inside out. The cloud-like veining wakes up, glowing from within, and a soft light spills up and down the wall. No glare, no bright bulb to look at — just a calm, honeyed glow, and a room that softens around it.
The shape is deliberately simple. A single vertical rectangle — architectural, quiet, and easy to place — that frames the stone and lets its natural pattern be the whole story. Beside a bed it saves your nightstand; along a hallway or a TV wall, a matching pair brings a calm, balanced symmetry that a single lamp can't.
And because each panel is cut from genuine natural alabaster, the veining runs right through the stone — the piece on your wall exists nowhere else in the world. Framed in warm metal, substantial and solid in the hand, it's a fixture you notice a little more each time you pass it, and never grow tired of.
What real stone and real metal give you that glass, resin, and acrylic can't.

Natural stone lighting
The Vidir lighting edit
Most shades block light and let it out at the edges. Yet, this stone-textured lampshade manages to achieve exactly that.
Alabaster is translucent. Switch it on and the whole shade lights up from within, veining and all, instead of glowing only where the bulb sits. There is no bright spot to look at, because the light source is the entire surface.
The veining was decided underground, long before anyone cut it. Every shade carries its own pattern and its own faint colour shift — so the piece that arrives is not the piece in the photograph, and that is the point.
Resin and acrylic imitations go amber and brittle within a few years of sitting next to a warm bulb. Stone does not age that way. The shade you unpack is the shade you will have in twenty years.
Designed for better living
Use warm white (2700K). The stone itself has an off-white, creamy tone; cool light passing through it makes it look grayish and dingy, whereas warm light brings out that honey-like hue seen in the photos.
Alabaster is a natural stone that absorbs water and cleaning agents, which can leave permanent stains. Disconnect the power, let the bulb cool down, and then wipe the fixture with a soft, dry cloth—do not use water or spray cleaners.
The density of the stone is far greater than that of a glass shade of the same size; ensure the ceiling's load-bearing capacity is sufficient for safety.

Alabaster Cylindrical Chain Chandelier
Alabaster is translucent, so the light travels through the stone rather than escaping at the edges — the whole shade glows, veining and all. Every piece carries a pattern that was decided underground, which is why no two are alike.
Resin is cast in moulds, so the "veining" repeats from one shade to the next and the light passes through evenly with no depth to it. It also ages differently: sitting close to a warm bulb, resin tends to amber and grow brittle within a few years.
THE ART OF ALABASTER
The natural texture of alabaster brings a warm, mineral quality to the space. (Please contact us if you require a specific texture.)
A pure white texture reminiscent of fresh snow—warm, smooth, and refined.
Deep, inky patterns flow across a white base.
A dynamic pattern resembling a bolt of lightning streaking across the sky.
Fine, intricate cracks evoking the aesthetic beauty of a sheet of ice at the moment it shatters.
A pattern as light and airy as falling snowflakes, with every single flake unique.
