Light changes everything
Discover sculptural lighting designed to bring warmth, character, and atmosphere to every room.
Resembling a warm, low-hanging moon, this Modern Alabaster Celestial Round Chandelier is crafted from natural stone, transforming an ordinary ceiling into the serene focal point of the entire space. The light it casts is soft and soothing, free from harsh glare. Warm light diffuses through the alabaster rather than shining directly downward, illuminating the stone’s internal, cloud-like veining to create a gentle, golden, and tranquil atmosphere.
Designed to elevate your space, it remains stunning even when the lights are off. By day, the pale stone set against a warm brass frame serves as a sculptural centerpiece; by night, it radiates a soft, inviting glow. It commands attention at any time—captivating guests the moment they walk through the door. Choose from single- or double-tier round models in various diameters, or a rectangular version that perfectly complements a long dining table.
No two pieces of stone are ever the same
Alabaster is a natural stone, so every piece carries its own veining and subtle variation in color. The fixture you receive may therefore differ slightly from the images shown.

Alabaster is a natural stone, so every disc has its own veining and subtle color variation. The piece you receive will differ slightly from the photos — this is inherent to real stone, not a defect.
The fixture takes a standard G9 bulb, so dimming depends on the bulb you choose. Fit a dimmable G9 bulb with a compatible wall dimmer and you'll have full dimming control.
Every fixture ships with a 150 cm / 59″ wire. For a high ceiling or stairwell, contact us before ordering and we'll extend it for you.
Three forms — a single-layer round disc, a stacked double-layer round, and a long rectangular version — sized for tables and rooms large and small.

Over a dining table, choose a fixture roughly one-half to two-thirds the width of the table, centered over it and hung so the lowest point sits about 30–36″ above the tabletop. For a rectangular table, the Long versions follow the shape better than a single round disc; for a double-height room or stairwell, the 2-Layer adds vertical presence. Every fixture ships with a 150 cm / 59″ wire that can be extended on request.
A suspended ring of natural alabaster — a calm, celestial focal point over a table or an open room.
The floating alabaster disc reads as a low, glowing moon above the table — a quiet centerpiece that draws the eye without shouting. Guests notice it the moment they walk in, lit or unlit, and it turns an ordinary ceiling into the feature of the room.
Light travels through the stone and comes back softened, so warm light filters through the veining and casts no harsh hotspot. The cold edges of a room dissolve into a calm, atmospheric glow — the kind of light you actually want to sit and eat under.
The discs are cut from genuine natural alabaster — never resin or faux stone — so the cloud-like veining runs right through the stone and no two are ever alike. It's framed in warm brass that sits in the same tone as the glow. Both keep their character for decades — stone that won't yellow, and one truly one-of-a-kind piece on your ceiling.

Picture the evening your favorite people are over.
The plates are cleared, the conversation has slowed, and no one wants to get up yet. You reach over and turn down the light. Above the table, a single disc of stone glows like a low, warm moon — the veining lit softly from within, the room dropping into that easy, golden hush where an evening finally settles. Nobody comments on the fixture. They just... stay a little longer.
That's what this piece is for. By day it's quiet — a pale stone circle resting over the table, sculptural even when it's off. By night it becomes the reason the room feels warm. Fit a dimmable bulb and you can take it from bright, easy dinner light all the way down to a slow, candle-soft glow as the night winds on.
And because the disc is cut from genuine natural alabaster, the cloud-like veining runs right through the stone — the piece over your table exists nowhere else in the world. Framed in warm brass, it's the kind of thing you notice a little more each time you sit beneath it, and never grow tired of.

Natural stone lighting
The Vidir lighting edit
Most shades block light and let it out at the edges. Yet, this stone-textured lampshade manages to achieve exactly that.
Alabaster is translucent. Switch it on and the whole shade lights up from within, veining and all, instead of glowing only where the bulb sits. There is no bright spot to look at, because the light source is the entire surface.
The veining was decided underground, long before anyone cut it. Every shade carries its own pattern and its own faint colour shift — so the piece that arrives is not the piece in the photograph, and that is the point.
Resin and acrylic imitations go amber and brittle within a few years of sitting next to a warm bulb. Stone does not age that way. The shade you unpack is the shade you will have in twenty years.
Designed for better living
Use warm white (2700K). The stone itself has an off-white, creamy tone; cool light passing through it makes it look grayish and dingy, whereas warm light brings out that honey-like hue seen in the photos.
Alabaster is a natural stone that absorbs water and cleaning agents, which can leave permanent stains. Disconnect the power, let the bulb cool down, and then wipe the fixture with a soft, dry cloth—do not use water or spray cleaners.
The density of the stone is far greater than that of a glass shade of the same size; ensure the ceiling's load-bearing capacity is sufficient for safety.

Our product
Alabaster Cylindrical Chain Chandelier
Alabaster is translucent, so the light travels through the stone rather than escaping at the edges — the whole shade glows, veining and all. Every piece carries a pattern that was decided underground, which is why no two are alike.
Resin is cast in moulds, so the "veining" repeats from one shade to the next and the light passes through evenly with no depth to it. It also ages differently: sitting close to a warm bulb, resin tends to amber and grow brittle within a few years.
THE ART OF ALABASTER
The natural texture of alabaster brings a warm, mineral quality to the space. (Please contact us if you require a specific texture.)
A pure white texture reminiscent of fresh snow—warm, smooth, and refined.
Deep, inky patterns flow across a white base.
A dynamic pattern resembling a bolt of lightning streaking across the sky.
Fine, intricate cracks evoking the aesthetic beauty of a sheet of ice at the moment it shatters.
A pattern as light and airy as falling snowflakes, with every single flake unique.
Material · Method · Light
Every texture tells a story of natural light and patient craftsmanship.

Crafted from select natural alabaster, preserving its unique veining.
Meticulously cut and shaped by artisans.
Repeatedly ground and polished for a smooth, refined texture.
