Light changes everything
Discover sculptural lighting designed to bring warmth, character, and atmosphere to every room.
Every alabaster bar is one of a kind
The twin bars of this alabaster wall sconce are cut from genuine natural alabaster — a translucent stone formed over thousands of years. No two bars share the same veining, hue, or translucency, so the warm, cloud-like marbling that glows across your alabaster wall light exists nowhere else on earth. It's not resin, not faux stone, not plastic — it's a genuine piece of the earth, and it belongs to no one else but you.
Warm, soft, never harsh
What makes alabaster captivating is its rare ability to glow without revealing the source. As light fills the stone bars, it filters out all glare and softens into a warm, honey-amber wash. In an instant the cold edges of a bedroom, hallway, or living room dissolve into a quiet, inviting warmth — exactly the atmospheric quality designers reach for in fine alabaster lighting, and a glow no printed resin shade can imitate.
Architectural, refined, modern
Two rounded alabaster bars rise side by side against a slim brass-finish backplate, creating a refined, architectural silhouette with real presence. The pairing of soft, glowing stone and warm metal makes this natural stone wall light a sculptural statement whether it's lit or not — a piece of art on your wall by day, and a warm, layered glow by night that feels effortlessly organic-modern.
Built to age, not to fade
Natural alabaster has been treasured for centuries for one reason: it endures. Unlike a resin or faux-stone shade that yellows and grows brittle under the warmth of the bulb, natural stone keeps its color and character for decades. Its genuine, substantial weight is the first thing customers notice that tells them they've received the real thing. Beautiful on its own or as a matched pair, this alabaster wall sconce only deepens in character as the years pass — an heirloom, not a trend.

This sconce looks striking on its own and even better in twos. Mount one on each side of a bed, mirror, or fireplace at the same height for a balanced, designer look. Because each bar is natural alabaster, your pair is beautifully matched yet never identical.
Switch off power at the breaker and confirm the wires are dead with a voltage tester. Hold the sconce to the wall and mark your mounting height — center about 48–52″ from the floor beside a bed. Handle the natural stone bars gently.
Safety first — if unsure about wiring, hire a qualified electrician.Secure the brass-finish backplate to a standard US wall junction box, using suitable wall anchors if needed. Check it sits perfectly level and vertical before wiring.
Connect live (L), neutral (N), and ground (E) per the manual, then tuck the wires neatly into the box before fixing the fixture to the backplate.
Attach the alabaster bars to the fixture, restore power, and enjoy the warm glow. The integrated LED means there's no bulb to fit. For a pair, repeat and match the height on both sides.

Natural stone lighting
The Vidir lighting edit
Most shades block light and let it out at the edges. Yet, this stone-textured lampshade manages to achieve exactly that.
Alabaster is translucent. Switch it on and the whole shade lights up from within, veining and all, instead of glowing only where the bulb sits. There is no bright spot to look at, because the light source is the entire surface.
The veining was decided underground, long before anyone cut it. Every shade carries its own pattern and its own faint colour shift — so the piece that arrives is not the piece in the photograph, and that is the point.
Resin and acrylic imitations go amber and brittle within a few years of sitting next to a warm bulb. Stone does not age that way. The shade you unpack is the shade you will have in twenty years.
Designed for better living
Use warm white (2700K). The stone itself has an off-white, creamy tone; cool light passing through it makes it look grayish and dingy, whereas warm light brings out that honey-like hue seen in the photos.
Alabaster is a natural stone that absorbs water and cleaning agents, which can leave permanent stains. Disconnect the power, let the bulb cool down, and then wipe the fixture with a soft, dry cloth—do not use water or spray cleaners.
The density of the stone is far greater than that of a glass shade of the same size; ensure the ceiling's load-bearing capacity is sufficient for safety.

Our product
Alabaster Cylindrical Chain Chandelier
Alabaster is translucent, so the light travels through the stone rather than escaping at the edges — the whole shade glows, veining and all. Every piece carries a pattern that was decided underground, which is why no two are alike.
Resin is cast in moulds, so the "veining" repeats from one shade to the next and the light passes through evenly with no depth to it. It also ages differently: sitting close to a warm bulb, resin tends to amber and grow brittle within a few years.
THE ART OF ALABASTER
The natural texture of alabaster brings a warm, mineral quality to the space. (Please contact us if you require a specific texture.)
A pure white texture reminiscent of fresh snow—warm, smooth, and refined.
Deep, inky patterns flow across a white base.
A dynamic pattern resembling a bolt of lightning streaking across the sky.
Fine, intricate cracks evoking the aesthetic beauty of a sheet of ice at the moment it shatters.
A pattern as light and airy as falling snowflakes, with every single flake unique.

Every texture tells a story of natural light and patient craftsmanship.

Crafted from select natural alabaster, preserving its unique veining.
