A fountain of warm light

The Verenne Gold Leaf Two-Tier Pendant Chandelier with Crystal Drop is shaped like a fountain made of light: two flared gold tiers, one spilling into the next, finished with a single clear crystal drop.

Switch it on and the integrated LED glows inside the upper tier. The gold interior warms the light to a soft 3000K, a bright halo escapes between the tiers, and a gentle downlight settles over the table below.

By day, Verenne reads as a sculpture. Slim cables let the shades seem to float, a ring of gold petals gathers the lower tier, and the crystal teardrop catches the sunlight.

Choose the 26" size for a dining table or bedroom, or the grand 49.6" size, which adds a third tier, for a two-story foyer or open living room. Each piece ships from our factory in 5–10 working days.

Design story

A fountain, turned into light

In old European courtyards, tiered fountains have a quiet rhythm: water fills the top basin, spills over its edge into the next, and falls as a final drop to the pool below. We wanted Verenne to move light in the same way.

The upper tier gathers the glow and warms it against its gold interior. The light then spills over the rim as a halo, flows into the smaller tier and falls softly to the table. The crystal teardrop is the last drop of water, caught just before it lands.

The result is a pendant that feels classic and calm at the same time: the grace of Regency design, the clean lines of a modern home, and a warm glow that makes every evening feel a little more golden.

What sizes are available?

Two sizes: the two-tier Ø 26" x H 15.3" (66 x 39 cm) and the three-tier Ø 49.6" x H 33.5" (126 x 85 cm).

Which size suits my dining table?

Choose 26" for tables up to about 72" long, and 49.6" for tables of 96" and up or large open rooms.

How high should I hang it?

Hang the crystal drop 30–36" above the table, and keep at least 7 ft of clearance where people walk.

How long is the suspension wire?

It comes with 59" (150 cm) of wire, adjustable at installation. Longer wire is available on request.

Can I install it on a sloped ceiling?

Yes, the pendant hangs straight from an angled ceiling. Email us your ceiling angle so we can confirm the fit.

What light source does it use?

It has a built-in integrated LED, so there are no bulbs to buy or replace.

What color is the light?

Warm white 3000K, a soft golden tone that flatters skin, wood and food.

Is it dimmable?

The Verenne Gold Leaf Two-Tier Chandelier is built like a tiered fountain: wide gold tiers stacked one inside another, narrowing to a single crystal drop at the centre.

Every tier is finished in gold leaf laid by hand, so the surface has the soft, layered shine of real gilding rather than the flat sheen of paint. Switch it on and the light pours down the same way — a warm glow inside the tiers, a halo slipping out between them, and a soft pool of light on the table below.

Hand-Applied Gold Leaf

Gilded by hand,

The gold on Verenne is not sprayed or plated. Thin sheets of gold leaf are laid onto each tier by hand, one at a time, then smoothed and sealed. It is slow work, and it is the reason the finish glows instead of simply reflecting.

Shape & prepareEach iron tier is formed, smoothed and primed so the leaf lies flat.
Brush the sizeA thin adhesive layer is brushed on and left until it turns tacky.
Lay the leafSheets of gold leaf are placed by hand and pressed down, overlapping slightly.
Burnish & sealThe surface is gently burnished, then sealed to protect the finish.

Made by hand, so no two are identical. Faint seams and small shifts in tone between sheets are part of the gilding, not a flaw.
