Light changes everything
Discover sculptural lighting designed to bring warmth, character, and atmosphere to every room.
The Beaded Aurelle Alabaster Orb Wall Sconce features four natural stone spheres that emit a soft glow, strung along a slender metal rod like a strand of luminous pearls nestled against the wall. Suspended from a clean circular backplate, the alabaster orbs graduate downward in a quiet vertical rhythm — architectural, delicate, and unmistakably modern. Switched off, they read as pale marbled beads; switched on, each stone glows warmly from within, and the veining comes alive. Light doesn't blast out; it sinks into the stone and returns as a soft, honey-warm wash that casts a gentle halo on the wall behind, with no harsh hotspot and no visible bulb.
No two pieces of stone are ever the same
Alabaster is a natural stone, so every piece carries its own veining and subtle variation in color. The fixture you receive may therefore differ slightly from the images shown.

Select the size marked (*2) — two together come at a better price than buying them separately.
Choose brass, black, or nickel — warm and gilded, crisp and modern, or cool and contemporary. The same slim silhouette suits nearly any palette, and looks especially elegant mounted in pairs flanking a bed or mirror.
The warm-white LED is built into the fixture, so there's no bulb to buy, fit, or ever change — just hardwire it and switch on. It works with a common wall switch (switch not included). For dry, indoor locations only.
One elegant vertical size — slim enough for tight walls, tall enough to make a statement.

Bedside, mirror, hallway, or beside a staircase — the tall, narrow spots a wide fixture can't fill.
Just 4.7″ wide — it hugs the wall without crowding a narrow space.
Mount two, one on each side of a bed or mirror, for a balanced, symmetrical look.
For a bedside or mirror, mount the sconce so the center sits around 60–66″ from the floor (roughly eye level). Flanking a bed, space a pair to frame the headboard evenly; flanking a mirror, keep them just outside the glass. Because it's slim and vertical, it reads beautifully on narrow wall runs where a wide fixture would feel cramped.
Four stones, one quiet line of light.
The Beaded Aurelle Alabaster Orb Wall Sconce began with a simple, tactile image: a string of glowing beads resting against the wall. Four spheres of natural stone hang down a slender metal stem, each one carved by hand, each one lit softly from within — like a strand of luminous pearls, or a row of small moons descending in a quiet vertical rhythm. There's no shade, no ornament, no clutter. Just the stem, the stone, and the glow.
That vertical line is the whole idea. Instead of spreading sideways like most fixtures, Aurelle draws the eye downward in a slow, graceful cadence — made for the tall, narrow walls a wide sconce would only crowd. Lit, each orb turns warm and honeyed, casting a soft halo on the wall behind; unlit, they rest as pale alabaster beads against the metal, sculptural even in daylight. It's decorative and calming at once.

Four hand-carved alabaster spheres graduate down a slender stem like a strand of luminous pearls. Instead of one flat glow, you get a quiet vertical rhythm that turns a bare wall into sculpture — beautiful whether it's lit or switched off.

Natural stone lighting
The Vidir lighting edit
Most shades block light and let it out at the edges. Yet, this stone-textured lampshade manages to achieve exactly that.
Alabaster is translucent. Switch it on and the whole shade lights up from within, veining and all, instead of glowing only where the bulb sits. There is no bright spot to look at, because the light source is the entire surface.
The veining was decided underground, long before anyone cut it. Every shade carries its own pattern and its own faint colour shift — so the piece that arrives is not the piece in the photograph, and that is the point.
Resin and acrylic imitations go amber and brittle within a few years of sitting next to a warm bulb. Stone does not age that way. The shade you unpack is the shade you will have in twenty years.
Designed for better living
Use warm white (2700K). The stone itself has an off-white, creamy tone; cool light passing through it makes it look grayish and dingy, whereas warm light brings out that honey-like hue seen in the photos.
Alabaster is a natural stone that absorbs water and cleaning agents, which can leave permanent stains. Disconnect the power, let the bulb cool down, and then wipe the fixture with a soft, dry cloth—do not use water or spray cleaners.
The density of the stone is far greater than that of a glass shade of the same size; ensure the ceiling's load-bearing capacity is sufficient for safety.

Alabaster Cylindrical Chain Chandelier
Alabaster is translucent, so the light travels through the stone rather than escaping at the edges — the whole shade glows, veining and all. Every piece carries a pattern that was decided underground, which is why no two are alike.
Resin is cast in moulds, so the "veining" repeats from one shade to the next and the light passes through evenly with no depth to it. It also ages differently: sitting close to a warm bulb, resin tends to amber and grow brittle within a few years.
THE ART OF ALABASTER
The natural texture of alabaster brings a warm, mineral quality to the space. (Please contact us if you require a specific texture.)
A pure white texture reminiscent of fresh snow—warm, smooth, and refined.
Deep, inky patterns flow across a white base.
A dynamic pattern resembling a bolt of lightning streaking across the sky.
Fine, intricate cracks evoking the aesthetic beauty of a sheet of ice at the moment it shatters.
A pattern as light and airy as falling snowflakes, with every single flake unique.
