Two small moons, glowing on your wall

The Twin Moon Alabaster Wall Sconce stacks perfectly round spheres of natural white alabaster beneath a slim metal arm, so two small moons seem to hang on your wall. There is something calming about a full moon: soft, round and gently bright. Switched off, the spheres rest as smooth orbs of ivory stone. Switched on, a built-in warm LED makes them glow from within, the light gathers where one sphere meets the next, and natural clouds and veins appear in honey and cream. Because no two pieces of stone are alike, every sconce carries its own pattern, as unique as the night sky on any given evening.

Part 01 · One of a kind

Your spheres will never repeat

Alabaster formed slowly in the earth over thousands of years. The spheres you receive will never look exactly like the photos, or like any other piece, and that is the mark of genuine stone, not a defect.

Pattern. Veins may be fine or soft, sparse or dense.
Tone. From milky white to warm cream, deepening to honey when lit.
Glow. Thinner areas let more light through, giving each sphere its own play of light.

Choosing & Placing

Which version should I choose, 2 Heads or 4 Heads?

The 2 Heads (H 30 cm / 11.8″) hangs two spheres below a short arm and glows downward, ideal in pairs beside a bed or mirror. The 4 Heads (H 50 cm / 19.7″) has two spheres above and two below the wall plate, washing the wall with light in both directions for fireplaces, entries and larger vanities.

How high should I mount the sconce?

Beside a bathroom mirror or along a hallway, place the centre of the wall plate about 60–66″ above the floor. Beside a bed, about 48–54″ works well, so the glow sits just above shoulder height when you sit up to read.

How far apart should I hang a pair?

Beside a vanity mirror, space two sconces about 36–40″ apart, centred on the mirror. Beside a bed, set each one 6–10″ outside the edge of the headboard.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

Yes, in a dry area such as beside a vanity mirror. It is rated IP20 for indoor dry locations, so keep it away from the shower, tub and direct water splashes.

Light & Installation

What light source does it use?

Each sconce has a built-in LED in 3000K warm white by default, so there are no bulbs to buy or replace. The light sits inside the spheres and glows evenly through the alabaster without hot spots.

Is it dimmable?

The standard sconce has a push-button switch and is not dimmable. A dimmable version is available on request, so please contact us before ordering and we will confirm the details.

What voltage does it support?

It runs on AC 110–240V, which suits standard US household wiring as well as most other countries.

How is it installed?

The round wall plate mounts over a standard junction box and the sconce is hardwired. For safety and local code compliance, we recommend installation by a licensed electrician.

Which finishes are available?

Gold and Black. Gold echoes the honey tones in the stone, while Black gives the white spheres a crisp, graphic contrast.

Is there a better price for a pair?

Yes. Choose the option marked (*2) to receive two sconces at a better price than buying them one by one, ideal for both sides of a bed or mirror.

Will my sconce look like the photos?

It will be very close, but never identical. Each sphere is natural alabaster, so veining, tone and translucency vary from piece to piece, which is the mark of genuine stone rather than a defect.

How do I care for the alabaster?

Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and chemical cleaners, as alabaster is a soft, porous stone that can mark or lose its sheen.
