This long strip with 8 lights was installed on the kitchen island. The combination of black leather and matte brass is just right, creating a look that is both modern and has a touch of retro industrial style. Bridles hang along the wall, leather worn smooth by years of hands. Nothing there is decorative for its own sake, and yet everything is beautiful.

Every strap is closed with one neat line of stitching. We wrapped each arm the same way, pulled tight around brass, with a single visible seam.

The day it arrivesYou lift the lid and the first thing you notice isn't the brass — it's the smell of real leather. Every arm is wrapped and stitched, and the linen shades come nested and clean.

Brass collars close every joint like a buckle, and brass rods and hooks carry the frame from the ceiling. The hardware is the structure, not decoration added afterwards — which is why every visible metal part is doing something.

Looks beautiful, but arrived with a faulty LED driver and burnt out the LED string light. Basically broke within minutes of it being wired in. Luckily I found a local lighting company who had a similar LED driver and was able to replace the LED lights. It’s a very custom lighting system that you can not easily replace. Buyer beware of that.
Honestly, the final look completely won me over! Each hook is designed in a reasonable way, so that the glass tubes hang naturally in a staggered manner, without the rigid feel of an industrial mold. I am very satisfied with this light fixture.
