Walk through an Italian hill town at sunset and you see the rooftops glow: curved tiles laid row upon row, each catching the last of the light.

Tegola, the Italian word for roof tile, turns that view upside down and hangs it above your table. Curved tiles of natural white alabaster, each held by a single dark pin at its centre, overlap in two staggered tiers on a slender black stainless steel frame. Switch it on and a warm 3000K LED glows through every tile and slips through the gaps between them, revealing the stone’s soft, cloud-like veining.
