Choosing & Placing

Which model should I choose?

Model A (Hook Arm) hangs a single stone stack from a curved arm and chain, ideal for bedsides, reading corners and narrow hallways. Model B (Up & Down) has two stacks glowing above and below one wall plate, giving more light for bathroom mirrors, entries and feature walls.

How high should I mount the sconce?

Beside a bed, place the stone about 48–54″ above the floor, roughly 20–24″ above the mattress. Beside a mirror or along a hallway, aim for 60–66″ to the centre of the fixture, which puts the glow near eye level without glare.

How far apart should I hang a pair?

Beside a mirror, space the two sconces about 36–40″ apart, centred on the mirror. Beside a bed, set each one 6–10″ outside the edge of the headboard so the light falls on your book, not your pillow.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

Yes, in a dry area such as beside a vanity mirror. It is rated IP20 for indoor dry locations, so keep it away from the shower, tub and direct water splashes.

What light source does it use?

Each sconce has a built-in LED in 3000K warm white, so there are no bulbs to buy or replace. The light sits inside the stack and glows evenly through every piece of alabaster.

Is it dimmable?

The standard version uses a push-button switch and is not dimmable. A dimmable version is available on request, so please contact us before you order and we will confirm the details.

What voltage does it support?

It runs on AC 110–240V, which suits standard US household wiring as well as most other countries.

How is it installed?

The sconce mounts to a standard wall junction box and is hardwired. For safety and local code compliance, we recommend installation by a licensed electrician.

Gold and Black. Gold echoes the warm honey tones in the stone, while Black gives a crisp, graphic contrast against light walls.

Is there a better price for a pair?

Will my sconce look like the photos?

It will be very close, but never identical. Alabaster is natural stone, so veining, tone and translucency vary from piece to piece, which is the mark of genuine material rather than a defect.

How do I care for the alabaster?

Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and chemical cleaners, as alabaster is a soft, porous stone that can mark or lose its sheen.
