1. ⚠️ Precautions (Safety and Preparation are Key!)
Safety First!: Before commencing any installation work, always disconnect the main power switch to ensure there is no risk of electric shock during installation.

Load-bearing capacity check: Chandeliers are typically much heavier than ordinary light fixtures. Ensure the ceiling and pre-installed hooks (or beams) have sufficient load-bearing capacity. If the ceiling is plasterboard or a hollow structure, professional expansion screws or through-the-joists are required for securing.

Location: Ensure the chandelier is centered in the room, near the dining table, or in a key area.

Fixed fixture inspection: After unpacking, carefully inspect all parts of the chandelier for completeness and undamagedness, especially glass or crystal components.

Tool preparation: Prepare necessary tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, electric drills, ladders, and insulating tape.

Multiple people working together: For large or heavy chandeliers, it is strongly recommended that two or more people work together. One person should hold the ladder or support the fixture, while another handles wiring and securing it.

2. 🛠️ Installation Process (Step-by-Step, Efficient!)
This is a general installation procedure; please refer to the instruction manual that came with your chandelier for specific details.

1. Preparation and Power Off: Check that all parts and tools are ready. Completely disconnect the power supply.

2. Determine Installation Location and Marking: Determine the center point of the light fixture on the ceiling. Mark the ceiling according to the mounting hole positions of the chandelier base (or ceiling plate).

3. Install Fixtures: Drill holes at the marked locations using an electric drill. Install and securely fix expansion screws or hooks to the ceiling, ensuring they can support the weight of the light fixture.

4. Assemble the Fixture (Partially): For large chandeliers, partial assembly on the ground is usually required first (such as connecting the main frame, adjusting the chain length, etc.). Determine the final length of the chain/rod.

5. Wiring: Thread the pre-installed power cord through the chain/rod. 6. Connect the chandelier's power cord correctly to the pre-installed power cord in the ceiling. Ensuring a correct connection is an important safety measure.

6. Secure the fixture: Carefully lift the chandelier into place. Secure the chandelier's base or ceiling mount to the ceiling fixtures, ensuring the fixture is stable and does not wobble.

7. Install bulbs and decorations: Install suitable bulbs (paying attention to wattage limits and lamp holder models). Install crystal, glass shades, or other decorative components.

8. Power test: Clean up the area. Restore power and check that all bulbs light up correctly and that the chandelier functions properly.

3. 💡 Other Supplements (Making Your Chandelier Perfect!)
Dimming Function: If your chandelier and circuitry support dimming, ensure you purchase dimmable bulbs and a corresponding dimmer switch.

Cleaning and Maintenance: Chandeliers, especially crystal chandeliers, require regular cleaning to maintain their brilliance. Use a professional cleaning spray or a soft cloth. Always disconnect the power before cleaning!

Spare Parts: Keep spare small parts that came with your chandelier, such as extra crystal beads, screws, or fuses, safe for unforeseen circumstances.

Professional Installation: For particularly heavy or complex chandeliers, if you lack experience, it is strongly recommended to hire a professional electrician or installer to ensure safety and installation quality.
