The story
Named after a garden of moons
In late summer, the old cottage-garden plant lunaria leaves behind round, translucent seed pods that gardeners call moon pennies. Hold one up to a window and the light glows straight through it. The Lunaria ceiling light is built from that same idea, in stone: dozens of round discs of natural alabaster hang from slender hooks, overlapping in gentle tiers around a central frame.
Switch it on and the light passes through every disc, layer upon layer, so the whole fixture glows like a cluster of small moons, with cloud-like veining drifting across each one. In gold or nickel, the Lunaria brings the warmth and presence of a chandelier to bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms and entryways, in Art Deco, modern organic, Japandi and modern classic interiors alike.

Are the discs real alabaster?
Yes. Every disc is natural white alabaster stone, not glass, resin or shell. Its veining shows most clearly when the light is on.
Will my light look exactly like the photos?
Very close, but not identical. Each disc is natural stone, so veining and tone vary slightly from disc to disc. Across the whole fixture, that variation is part of its character, not a defect.
Gold or nickel?
Gold feels warm and classic, beautiful with cream walls, wood and Art Deco interiors. Nickel is cooler and more understated, ideal with grey, white and modern rooms.

Is it dimmable?
No. The Lunaria is on/off only and is not dimmable. Its alabaster discs already soften the light into a warm, gentle glow.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20 for indoor, dry rooms only, such as bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms and entryways.
How do I clean it?
Dust the discs with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Avoid water and chemical cleaners, as alabaster is a porous natural stone.
