The 1-tier (Ø 60 × H 19 cm, 6 bulbs, 50 glass panels) is a low drum for dining tables, bedrooms, kitchens and standard 2.4 m ceilings. The 3-tier (Ø 67 × H 60 cm, 12 bulbs, 112 glass panels) gives twice the light and is a statement piece for living rooms, foyers and stairwells, best with ceilings of about 2.7 m or more.

Add the room’s length and width in feet; the total in inches is a good diameter. A 10 × 13 ft room suits about 23″ (the 1-tier); a 12 × 14 ft room suits about 26″ (the 3-tier). Over a table, choose about half to two-thirds of the table width.

Over a table, 75–90 cm (30–36″) from the tabletop to the bottom of the glass. In a walkway or living area, keep at least 210 cm (83″) between the floor and the bottom of the chandelier.

Blue feels fresh and suits white walls, wood and nickel. Pink gives the warmest, most flattering glow for bedrooms and dining rooms. Brown glows deep amber and suits classic or darker rooms. Gold is warm and vintage; nickel is cooler and more contemporary.

The 1-tier has 50 curved glass panels; the 3-tier has 112, arranged in three rings. Each panel is hand-textured, so it catches and scatters the light differently.

No. The colour is added while the glass is molten, so it runs through the whole panel instead of being painted or sprayed on. It will not fade in sunlight, discolour from bulb heat, or peel and scratch off when you clean it.

Very close, but each panel is handmade. Slight differences in texture, tone and tiny air bubbles are natural marks of handmade glass, not defects, and they are part of what makes the glow so lively.

Switch off the power and let the bulbs cool. Dust the panels with a soft, dry microfibre cloth or a feather duster; for marks, use a slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away. Avoid abrasive or ammonia cleaners on the glass and the metal finish.

The 1-tier takes 6 bulbs and the 3-tier takes 12, in E12 (candelabra base, US and Canada) or E14 (Europe, UK, Australia), with a maximum of 40 W per socket. We recommend warm white 2700K LED bulbs: they run cool behind the glass and bring out its colour best.

The coloured glass softens the light, so think of it as warm ambient light. With 4–5 W LED bulbs (40 W equivalent), the 1-tier gives a cosy glow over a dining table or bedroom, while the 3-tier, with twice the bulbs, can light a living room or foyer as the main fixture.

It depends on the bulbs you buy. With dimmable E12 or E14 bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer, it can be dimmed; with standard bulbs it works on and off.

Yes. The 150 cm (59.1″) chain can be shortened to set the hanging height. For higher ceilings we can make a longer chain, and we can customise the mounting for sloped ceilings; please contact us before ordering.

It is hardwired to a ceiling junction box under the canopy, so we recommend a licensed electrician. It runs on AC 110–240 V, covering the US, Canada, the UK, Europe, Australia and most other regions.

No. It is rated IP20 for indoor dry rooms only, with no protection against water or moisture.
