The Calligraphy Brush Chandelier is a modern black horsehair chandelier that turns the brushes of an ink painter into a sculpture of light, built from a matte-black iron frame, natural horsehair wraps and frosted acrylic tube shades.

Picture a quiet studio after a long evening of ink and rice paper, with a row of calligraphy brushes hung up to dry. That moment shapes every line of this fixture. Each slim iron stem swells into a sleeve of natural horsehair shaped like a brush head, loops over a U-shaped link, and falls toward a soft acrylic tip that holds the glow.

Switched off, it is a quiet piece of art. Switched on, every tip glows like a brush just lifted from the ink.

Over a dining table, a kitchen island or an open stairwell, the frosted acrylic tubes spread an even, glare-free light that flatters faces, wood and stone. Is the Calligraphy Brush Chandelier dimmable?

It depends on the bulbs you buy. With dimmable G9 bulbs, the chandelier can be dimmed.

Are bulbs included?

No. It takes G9 bulbs, so you can choose the brightness and color temperature you like.

Which bulbs do you recommend?

Warm white G9 LED bulbs at 2700K–3000K give a soft, flattering glow and run cool.

Does it work with US household power?

Yes. It is rated for AC 110–240V and works with standard US wiring.

Which size fits over a dining table?

The 4 heads size suits most dining tables and kitchen islands. The 9 heads size is made for foyers, stairwells and high ceilings.

How high should I hang it over a table?

Leave about 30–36″ (76–91 cm) between the tabletop and the bottom of the fixture.

What ceiling height do I need?

The 4 heads size works on ceilings from about 8 ft (2.4 m). The 9 heads size looks best on ceilings of 10 ft (3 m) or higher.

Can I get a longer cable for a high ceiling?

Yes. Longer cables are made to order, just tell us your ceiling height.

Will it work on a sloped ceiling?

Yes. Sloped-ceiling mounting is available on request.

How is it installed?

It is hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.

Is the horsehair real?

Yes. The wraps are natural horsehair, so each piece shows slight variations in tone and texture.

Which horsehair color should I choose?

Beige suits light oak and linen rooms, brown pairs with walnut and leather, and black gives a bold monochrome look.

How do I clean it?

Dust the horsehair gently with a soft dry brush and wipe the iron frame with a dry cloth. Avoid water and cleaning sprays.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20 for indoor dry locations only.
